Give the Gift of Healthy Food  

For some, preparing meals is not always feasible, and at times having nutritious meals delivered to one’s home can relieve a lot of stress. Consider giving the gift of healthy food by purchasing a gift certificate for someone in need to show you care.  

Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount for both current and new clients. Before purchasing, please view our service area map for our catchment area.

 Ways to Purchase a Gift Certificate  

1. ORDER ONLINE:
   Fill out and submit the online order form. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number, email, as well as the recipient’s name and phone number. Indicate the amount you would like to purchase and if you would like the gift certificate emailed to you or mailed to the recipient. The gift certificate will be sent once payment has been received.

   Payment options: call us to make a credit card payment over the phone; or make an e-transfer to payments@mealsonwheels-ottawa.org

2. ORDER BY PHONE:
   Call Meals on Wheels (613-233-2424) to order a gift certificate. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number, email, as well as the recipient’s name and phone number. Tell us the amount you would like to purchase and if you would like the gift certificate emailed to you or mailed to the recipient. The gift certificate will be sent once payment has been received.

   Payment options: credit card payments can be taken over the phone; or make an e-transfer to payments@mealsonwheels-ottawa.org

3. ORDER BY MAIL:
   Print and fill out the order form. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number, email, as well as the recipient’s name and phone number. Indicate the amount you would like to purchase and if you would like the gift certificate emailed to you or mailed to the recipient. The gift certificate will be sent once payment has been received.

   Payment options: mail a cheque (payable to Meals on Wheels Ottawa) for the amount ordered along with your printed order form to: Meals on Wheels Ottawa: 670 Albert St. Ottawa, ON K1R 6L2

How to Redeem the Gift Certificate: 

CURRENT CLIENTS: 
1. Call Meals on Wheels:  613-233-2424
2. Provide the gift certificate code
3. Place meal order 

NEW CLIENTS:
There are two options to redeem the gift certificate:

Over the phone 
1. Call and register with Meals on Wheels: 613-233-2424
2. Provide the gift certificate code
3. Place meal order 

Online
1. Register with Meals on Wheels by completing an online Client Application Form
2. A Meals on Wheels staff will call you and ask for your gift certificate code
3. Place meal order

Note: The recipient does not need to redeem the entire amount of the gift certificate at once and may choose to use the remaining amount at a later date. There is no expiry date for gift certificates.
