Volunteer Opportunities at Meals on Wheels

Did you know that Meals on Wheels instituted a Depot System in the west end?  We have four routes that are transported from The Good Companions Centre to the Olde Forge for pick up by delivery volunteers in the west of our catchment area.  We are currently looking for Depot Drivers with a vehicle large enough to transport the 4 routes (an SUV, Wagon or minivan) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  If you could help in addition to your regular meal delivery, even once a month, it would be a great support. If you don’t have a large enough vehicle, arrangements could be made for you to use the Meals on Wheels wagon.
