Meals on Wheels was at Volunteer Rendez-Vous on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, a Volunteer Ottawa event held at Ottawa City Hall. We met prospective volunteers who were interested either in driving or serving meals. We enjoyed being Meals on Wheels ambassadors and sharing our experience as volunteers. Our visitors to the table were very enthusiastic. Several future users of our service were happy to know about the array of both hot and frozen meals available to them. We met people from all areas of the city and they were very interested in our programs.
